Alfred 2 Productivity App
I recently started using Alfred, a productivity app for Mac. Alfred give you the ability to launch application, open files, search for things both on your computer and the web, and much more. All of this functionality is available from anywhere in the OS by way of a single keyboard shortcut.
Probably one of the most powerful features of Alfred is the ability to create and import custom work flows. Essentially anything that you find yourself doing repetitively on your computer you can create a work flow for and save yourself a lot of time. The other day I created a work flow that starts up several VMs on my machine and then launches Sublime Text, Terminal, and Chrome all with appropriate content showing for the development I am about to do.
