Moving Site to Jekyll

I have decided to move my site to Jekyll. For now it is a bit of an experiment so we will see how it goes.

Ultimately I was finding that maintaining a secure WordPress site for the infrequent posts I was making was just not practical. Very often I would find that my WordPress version was outdated and that many of the plugins I had installed were as well. Using Jekyll will come with its own sacrifices however it will be much much faster and I can write everything in Markdown, a format I am very fond of.
