You were nominated as the student of the month at your middle school. Wow! Words can’t describe how proud of you I am. You have grown and matured so much, it’s so hard to believe you were once my little girl — so excited to see that daddy got home before you did and was at the door to greet you. You are so smart, filled with compassion, and beautiful head to toe.
This year you have done so much in your life. You have made your bedroom into a mini zoo full of pets. You have learned to bake on your own and went from helping me make dinner for the family to making full meals yourself. You help around the house without being asked. You help your little brother with his homework and still get good grades yourself.
I haven’t written to you on here in over 10 years. Unbelievable. It’s not because there is nothing to write, there is so much to write to you about but there is so much life to live and only so much time in the day.
You may be student of the month but you are daughter of the century.
